Tis’ the season to go shopping… fa la la la la, la la la la. Does anyone else feel like Christmas just snuck up on them this year? With Thanksgiving coming late, we haven’t even gotten our tree get and Christmas is 2 weeks away! If you’re feeling the same way and maybe procrastinated your holiday shopping… i’m here to help! I’ve put together my all time favorite products in this Fitness Gift Guide. Not trendy. Just USEFUL. If none of the items noted below tickle your fancy, check out last year’s gift guide for some additional information.
I’ll be dropping gift guides over the next few days for fitness, cooking, and lifestyle… that means, there’s a little something for everyone. Stay tuned as these continue to trickle in. In the meantime, let’s help our loved ones prepare to set their new years fitness goals with a little bit of extra inspiration!
FITNESS GIFT GUIDE
When it comes to getting yourself to workout, having one or two new products is a sure fire way to motivate me. Here are the products that make me feel my best:
Leggings // UltraCor are the most expensive pair of workout pants I have but they make me feel SOME TYPEA WAY. Want to splurge for that special someone? Get them the Six Stripe Legging. They’re worth every penny. Runner ups in the legging category are the classic Lululemon Hi-Rise Wonder Under, and Beyond Yoga Spacedye Caught In The Midi High Waisted Legging for a more relaxed fit.
Shoes // My favorite trainers for weight lifting and any non-running activity at the APLs. These shoes not only help you function at a high level, they last a long time, and they look damn cute. I wear (and love) the Women’s TechLoom Breeze in Rose Dust. I feel it’s worth noting that I ordered the lace-less Women’s TechLoom Bliss and DID NOT like them. As far as running shoes go, I love my Women’s HOKA x OV Clifton by Outdoor Voices.
Tops// I’ve been loving this camo jacket to throw on over my workout clothes on the way to the gym. It’s cropped so it shows off your booty in those nice new leggings ;). This cropped lululemon long sleep shirt is also great to throw over a sports bra or workout tank.
Home Gym Equipment // I’ve been very into the home workouts as the weather is getting colder. I love the Melissa Wood Health online workouts (and they’re just $9.99/m). Support your loved ones new years resolution with this fool proof system. Melissa’s workouts are low impact physically but high impact on the body! She also has some great meditation series’ on her website if you want to finish your workout with a mindful moment. To do these workouts, it helps to have these 1lb ankle weights , resistance bands, and a pilates circle but aside from that, it’s basically equipment free.
Others // My hydroflask *with the straw lid* is my every day companion. It’s the best water bottle on the block and the straw lid makes all the difference to getting the hydration in all day long. Also, my rose gold enso silicone wedding ring is great when i’m lifting heavy weights or traveling and want to wear a subtle, low-key ring (that doesn’t really look rubber when it’s on). I don’t have the Theragun but my brother does and he loves it. Great for soothing sore muschles.
BONUS POINTS // STOCKING STUFFER IDEAS
- Lululemon secret socks – the best.
- Vital Proteins beauty water, matcha collagen, or collagen peptide travel packs.
- The new Airpod Pro’s if you’re really trying to ball out $$$$
- Coiled hair ties — the best/cutest hair ties that still look cute on your wrist. Talk about looking like you have your sh*t together…
- Arnica Sore Muscle Oil
- If you’re on a budget an want to make something homemade – I make my own muscle soak for the bath. Tie these up in cute bags for your family’s stockings: 1/4 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup sea salt or Himalayan salt, 1/4 cup Epsom salt, and 1/8 to 1/4 cup bentonite clay – mix it all up and portion it in individual bags. Add a sprig of lavendar for scent & voilà
I hope this helped inspire you to get a little special something for the fitness guru in your life… if not for yourself!
In good health,
Jess
