If I had you taste this pudding in a blind taste test, you would NEVER know there was avocado in it. Avocado has been one of my favorite ways lately to accomplish a creamy texture in recipes without the typical dairy and sugar involved in doing so (swap for cream in creamy sauces, bananas in smoothies, heavy cream in desserts, etc). The more ripe the avos, the creamier the texture they will yield. Ever find yourself with a few super ripe avocados & no desire for avo toast or a salad? Throw those babies in the blender for this delicious “chocolate (avocado) pudding!”
This pudding has a rich, dark cacao flavor and it super delicious when served with fresh berries for a snack or dessert. It’s got only a few simple ingredients & uses maple syrup (a natural sugar source) for the little bit of subtle sweetness that this recipe offers.
The process of creating the pudding is as easy as 1-2-3. You simply throw your avocados in the blender first to smooth & then add the remainder of the ingredients and refrigerate. Booya! Dessert is served.

Did you know that cacao is actually a superfood with over 40 times the antioxidants of blueberries. It’s the highest plant-based source of iron, full of magnesium for a healthy heart & brain, has more calcium than cow’s milk, and is a natural mood elevator and anti-depressant. Eat your cacao folks!
I hope you enjoy!
