I was going to call these the BEST Whole 30 Chicken Wings but they aren’t just the best among the Whole 30 Recipes… they’re just the best. These babies don’t usually last very long in my house – one serving is scooped up in minutes.
Jump to RecipeOkay, enough is enough… i’ll stop boasting about this recipe and get right to it. The wings are cooked in a dry spice for 30 minutes and then they’re doused in Frank’s Red Hot and Ghee. I mean, come on, is it even fair?
These wings are great served when you’ve got mixed company; some that are very into healthy eating and others that are, well, NOT. Everyone loves a good chicken wing so this recipe is sure to please a crowd.

- 1/4 tsp red cayenne pepper
- 1/3 cup ghee melted
- 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp @franksredhot
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 425F. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack over the baking sheet.
-
Pat wings dry with a paper towel and then place in a large bowl. Sprinkle all over with arrowroot, garlic, onion powder, salt & pepper.
-
Arrange the wings on a wire rack and place in the middle rack of the oven.
-
Bake at 425F for 35 minutes.
-
While the wings are baking, create the buffalo sauce by simply mixing the melted ghee and Franks hot sauce and wisking until well mixed.

Once the wings have baked, turn the oven temp up to 450F. Then use tongs to dip the wings in the sauce & cover them fully.

Put the wings right back on the rack and bake at 450F for another 10 minutes.
-
Cover the wings with any remaining sauce and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove & serve hot
I hope you enjoy these babies in good health!
