Buckwheat Breakfast Bowls

Ingredients

  • .5 cup Bob's Red MillĀ® Organic Creamy Buckwheat Hot Cereal
  • 1.5 cup filtered water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon organic ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil organic virgin
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds or flax seeds
  • 1 small handful cashews chopped
  • 1 small handful pepitas
  • 1 small handful almonds chopped
  • .5 cup berries mixed

Instructions

  1. Combine Bob's Red MillĀ® Organic Creamy Buckwheat Hot Cereal, water, flax or chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt in a pot.

  2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to lowest setting and stir well.

  3. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture becomes soft and thick.

  4. Just before the mixture reaches your desired texture, add the coconut oil. Mix until it melts evenly and remove the cereal from the pot into your bowl.

  5. Top with cinnamon, chopped nuts, and berries. Here's where you can have some fun with it! Add whatever you want or have on hand. I do something a little bit different every time.
